Utah establishes a statewide quantum initiative

Gov. Spencer Cox signed an executive order creating the Utah Quantum Initiative and a Quantum Coordination Council led by the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, with the Nucleus Institute invited to serve as co-lead. A statewide landscape report is due March 30, 2027, and the order runs through 2028.
