When you subscribe, we collect your email address, the page or form used to subscribe and the date of subscription. Standard technical information may also be collected by the website host and, when enabled, the site’s analytics provider.
How information is used
Subscriber information is used to deliver The Utah Signal, manage subscriptions, understand audience growth, improve the publication and comply with legal obligations. It is not sold.
Service providers
The website is hosted using OpenAI Sites. Subscription requests are submitted to Kit, the email-delivery provider, and a copy of the email address and signup source is stored in the site database. Analytics may be provided by Google Analytics when configured. These providers process information under their respective privacy terms.
Your choices
You may unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter email. You may also request access to or deletion of your subscriber information by contacting the publisher through LinkedIn.
Retention and security
Subscriber information is retained while a subscription remains active and as reasonably necessary for compliance and recordkeeping. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
